Overview
This module provides learners with a comprehensive understanding of Singapore’s environmental sustainability legislative framework and the BCA Green Mark assessment system. It examines underlying performance standards, green building design considerations, and relevant building technologies. Learners will be equipped with methods to identify, evaluate, and select cost-effective sustainability solutions, supporting a holistic approach to green building performance that aligns regulatory compliance with environmental and design objectives.
At the end, participants are placed within established Built Environment firms to apply theoretical knowledge gained from previous modules in authentic workplace settings. This immersive experience enables learners to develop essential practical skills, gain valuable industry exposure, and establish professional networks crucial for career advancement. The module serves as a capstone experience, integrating learning from Modules 1-5 into meaningful workplace applications. Eligibility requires successful completion of all preceding modules, ensuring participants possess the foundational knowledge necessary for effective workplace integration and learning.

Upon completion of the module, you will be able to:
- Interpret BCA’s environmental sustainability regulations, performance standards, and Green Mark assessment requirements.
- Evaluate and select appropriate green building design strategies and technologies to achieve holistic and cost-effective building performance.
- apply theoretical knowledge and technical concepts from Modules 1-5 to solve real-world problems and complete practical tasks within a Built Environment workplace setting
