Overview
Under the Workplace Safety and Health (Operation of Cranes) Regulations 2011, all tower crane operators must be trained. Personnel must attend and pass both the Theory and Practical programmes before being allowed to operate a tower crane. Participants must complete and pass the Tower Crane (Saddle Jib) Operation (Theory) course first before applying for the Practical course. The Practical course must be completed within one year of passing the Theory course.
Enrolment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to increased demand, the current waiting time for the Theory course is approximately four months. We appreciate your understanding as we manage enrolments.
Applicants who have secured employment as a crane operator and wish to be considered for priority placement may submit proof of employment (e.g. Letter of Employment or company endorsement) here: Submit Proof of Employment for Priority Placement Consideration
Priority placement is subject to availability and operational considerations, and may not be guaranteed.
