Through technology demonstrations, knowledge sharing and industry partnerships, BEIH supports the development and adoption of innovative Built Environment solutions.
Campus Highlights
Academic Tower
The Academic Tower is a smart, energy-efficient building housing modern classrooms, laboratories and collaborative learning spaces. Equipped with intelligent building systems and digital technologies, it supports immersive learning and provides opportunities to test and demonstrate solutions for smarter, more sustainable buildings.

Zero Energy Building Plus
Originally Singapore's first retrofitted Zero Energy Building, ZEB Plus was upgraded in 2022 to demonstrate positive-energy building solutions. It serves as a testbed for innovative green technologies, including advanced cooling systems, while promoting energy efficiency, occupant comfort and healthier workplaces.

Zero Energy Mid-Rise Building
Completed in 2023, the 7-storey Zero Energy Mid-rise Building (ZEB) showcases Mass Engineered Timber (MET) as a sustainable construction material. Its prefabricated timber structure reduces construction waste and embodied carbon while improving productivity and energy efficiency. Incorporating natural ventilation, high-performance building systems and solar panels, the building demonstrates how sustainable materials and smart design can come together to create greener, more energy-efficient buildings.

Super Low Energy High-Rise Building
Completed in 2023, the 16-storey Super Low Energy High-rise Building (SLEB) at BCA Braddell Campus showcases how innovative design and advanced building technologies can significantly reduce energy consumption in high-rise developments. Featuring energy-efficient cooling systems, smart building technologies and naturally ventilated spaces, the building demonstrates how sustainability can be integrated into modern high-rise architecture.
