About the Course

Overview

This module establishes fundamental programming competencies essential for computational design applications. The course focuses on programming syntaxes and practical application of popular programming languages specifically tailored for built environment professionals. Participants will develop core coding skills that enable them to create computational scripting tools for design automation and process optimisation. The curriculum emphasizes on hands-on programming experience, building confidence in code development and establishing the foundation for more advanced computational design workflows in subsequent modules.

Objectives

Upon completion of the module, you will be able to:

  • write functional code using programming syntaxes to create basic computational scripting tools for built environment applications

This will adequately equip you to pursue a career as a Specialist (Digital Delivery).
