Overview
Under the Workplace Safety and Health (Operation of Cranes) Regulations 2011, all tower crane operators must be trained. Personnel must attend and pass both the Theory and Practical programmes before being allowed to operate a tower crane. Participants must complete and pass the Tower Crane (Saddle Jib) Operation (Theory) course first before applying for the Practical course. The Practical course must be completed within one year of passing the Theory course.

Objectives
This course provides practical training in tower crane (saddle jib) operation.
Participants who have successfully completed this course will be awarded a Certificate of Successful Completion (Practical), CSC (Practical).
Only participants who have passed both the theory and practical courses will get a complete certificate “Certificate of Successful Completion (CSC).
