Overview
This course provides learners with an overview of the Smart FM framework and the infrastructure making up the smart system, including going through the concept of Design for Maintainability and the energy conservation techniques for smart buildings. An introduction to the usage of artificial intelligence for Smart FM is also included to help the learners to manage their building better and more sustainable.
Objectives
Upon completion of the module, you will be able to:
- Apply SMART process to manage facilities.
- Analyse maintainability considerations in architecture, landscape, structure, and mechanical & electrical services.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis for the introduction of new operation technologies in energy conservation.
- Apply data analytics and utilize IT for preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance and asset condition monitoring in facility management.
