CET for CoreTrade Supervisor (Mechanical & Electrical)

OVERVIEW
To continuously upgrade the construction workforce and support improvement in productivity, quality and safety, all CoreTrade supervisors are required to attend CET courses under their respectively register trade category such as Structural, Architectural and M&E works before they renew their licenses.

OBJECTIVES
At the end of the course, participant will be able to:
· Explain the requirements based on latest codes of practices, standards, regulations and Act relevant to the respective work category such as Structural, Architectural or M&E works.
· Apply good practices at sites to improve quality, and productivity of works keeping WSH in mind;
· Get updated with new technologies, installation methods, materials, tools or equipment for the respective work category.
· Co-ordinate work processes incorporating advanced and productive technologies;

COURSE OUTLINE
The CET for CoreTrade Supervisor Course is a fully online training covering the following contents:
· Latest codes of practices, standards, regulations and Acts
· CONQUAS (2019 Edition)
· WSH (Work at Heights) Regulations 2013
· Good practices on site to improve quality, and productivity, keeping WSH in mind
· Co-ordination of work processes to incorporate the advanced and productive technologies
· New technologies, installation methods, materials, tools or equipment of the category.
· Case studies showcasing good practices and improvement of productivity.

The content listed above is contextualised to suit the needs of respective supervisors coming from different category of works such Structural, Architectural and M&E works.

Next intake: 15 May 2024
Delivery Mode: e-Learning via BCAA Learning Management System (LMS)          Duration: Participants will be given 6 days to complete the online training at their own pace and time. Upon completion of the training, participants will need to complete an assessment session online at a fixed scheduled time. The details of training and assessment dates wil be informed to the participants via email.
Fee (inclusive of 9% GST): S$382.01 per participant

Applicant to submit the following documents at BCAA Online StoreFront (www.bcaa.edu.sg/OSF) for registration:
• CET Renewal for CoreTrade Acknowledgement Notice
• Photocopy of applicant identification (NRIC for local and Work Permit/Employment Pass for foreigner – front & back)
• Payment by GIRO or Bank Transfer (Individual/Company)

ASSESSMENT AND AWARD
There are a total of 9 online topics and participant must complete all the topics to be eligible to take the online assessment.

The online assessment consists of 15 multiple-choice-questions (MCQ), and all questions are to be answered. Participant is to complete assessment within the given 60 minutes duration. Participant who passed the assessment will be awarded a e-Certificate of Successful Completion (e-CSC). Participant who fail the assessment have to retake the course.
