Applicants must be a Singapore Citizen, Singapore Permanent Resident, or holder of valid Employment Pass/ Work Pass, or Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP).
Applicants must meet the following Entry Requirement to be awarded the Specialist Diploma qualification. Those who do not meet the Entry Requirements may apply for individual modular certificate; however, they will not be eligible for the award of a Specialist Diploma upon completion of all modular certificates.
- A diploma (minimum course duration of 2 years) or equivalent qualification
- A relevant Advanced Certificate / Higher NITEC / Advanced NBQ with 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
- A relevant certificate with 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience
- NITEC / Higher NBQ with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
English Language Proficiency
Applicants with degree or diploma qualifications where English is not the medium of instruction are required to achieve the ESS Workplace Literacy Test Level 6, issued by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG).
BIM Experience and Modelling Requirements
This programme is NOT suitable for beginners. Applicants must already possess working BIM modelling skills and be able to model independently in Autodesk Revit (Architecture / MEP/ Structure).
To be considered for admission, applicants must meet either of the following:
- BIM Work Experience
Applicants must be currently working in a BIM-related role or have demonstrated relevant BIM work experience. A letter from your employer confirming your current role and BIM responsibilities is required.
- BIM Modelling Certification
Applicants must hold a Certificate of Successful Completion of a BIM Modelling course (Architecture, MEP, or Structure track), issued within the last 2 years by an Autodesk Certified Trainer from an authorised training centre in Singapore.
Certificates from training centres other than BCA Academy will be recognised, provided the course content is equivalent to BCA Academy's Certification Course in BIM Modelling (Architecture Track). - Transcript Submission (In Lieu of BIM Certificate)
Applicants who have completed BIM modelling as part of a formal academic programme may submit their official transcripts in lieu of a certificate, supplemented by the course title, course details, and duration. The course content and duration must be equivalent to BCA Academy's Certification Course in BIM Modelling.
Computer System Requirements
Applicants must have their own computers or laptops meeting the minimum specifications required to run BIM software and access BCAA's student portal. Click here for the detailed system requirements.
