Modular Course A – Project Management Excellence in the Singapore Built Environment
Build a strong understanding of the Built Environment project lifecycle in Singapore, applying relevant governance frameworks and regulatory requirements from inception to handover. Develop the skills to:
- Formulate comprehensive project briefs
- Develop effective governance structures to manage project scope
- Compare different contract structures and apply collaborative contracting principles
- Apply risk management frameworks to classify and mitigate risks
- Implement design quality control processes incorporating productivity, sustainability and safety requirements
- Execute construction management practices including Quality Management Systems and Workplace Safety and Health obligations
- Carry out project handover procedures including defects management and post-project review
Modular Course B – Global Project Management: Project Control and Stakeholders Management
Strengthen your ability to manage stakeholders, interfaces, risks and project controls using globally recognised approaches contextualised to the local Built Environment sector. Learn to:
- Develop effective communication strategies and plans for Built Environment projects, including stakeholder management and governance structures
- Understand how business objectives and performance outcomes drive project scope, and apply tools to evaluate and manage scope
- Manage interfaces across the project lifecycle by identifying key attributes of effective interface management and interventions to address interface risks
- Apply risk classification, prioritisation and management frameworks
- Understand common causes of project claims and dispute resolution processes
- Apply the latest project management techniques and tools used internationally, contextualised to the Built Environment sector
- Explore approaches to managing key challenges such as cost and time overruns, as well as the use of emerging technologies in construction projects

Assessment & Award
Participants will be required to meet the following requirements to attain the certification(s) for each modular course.
- Minimum 75% physical attendance
- Completion of online self-learning
- Pass the individual assessment
- Complete the PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP)™ Exam
Dual Certifications
An electronic Certificate in Project Management for the Built Environment and a PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP)™ Certification will be awarded to participants who meet the attendance and assessments requirements.
Entry Requirement
Preferably with at least 3 years of working experience in the built environment sector.
