OVERVIEW
The Built Environment (BE) sector has been progressing well in DfMA adoption over the years in tandem with our efforts to transform the BE sector into one that is technologically advanced and integrated. Under the refreshed BE ITM pillar of Advanced Manufacturing and Assembly (AMA), DfMA would be enhanced with the wider adoption of Robotics and Automation (R&A) which promotes manpower-efficient technologies in the construction process, reducing firms’ reliance on low-skilled foreign manpower and raising productivity.
This seminar is curated with focus on advanced DfMA practices as well as Robotics & Automation (R&A) use-cases to continue our efforts to spread awareness and spur wider adoption of R&A. The speakers will share with the industry on the experience in advanced DfMA practices through exemplary projects and strengthen the capability towards AMA.
