Living in Singapore (International Student)

Singapore is a uniquely distinctive place.  With a total land area of about 714.3 square kilometres for a population of more than 5.3 million people, it is compact living with modern conveniences and efficiency.

Here, you will find a diverse population of predominantly Chinese living in harmony with Malays, Indians and Eurasians. This tiny island has a spectrum of religions, cultures, and languages. The synergistic mix of ethnic groups offers international students a wide range of choices for living, food and leicure in Singapore.

Singapore has a warm and humid climate all year round, with temperatures ranging from 23 to 33 degrees centigrade.  It is usually sunny with occasional rain, especially during the year-end period.

Singapore's safe environment with low crime rates and high standard of living are well renowned, providing international students an ideal environment for study.  And when it's time to put away the books, students can indulge in a myriad of sports, leisure and entertainment for relaxation.  With surprises awaiting you at every corner of the island, we believe you'll enjoy studying in Singapore.
