The World Workplace Asia is back to Singapore for a THIRD run!
Modelled after International Facility Management Association (IFMA)’s flgship World Workplace Conference hosted in United States annually, the World Workplace Asia (WWPA) conference provides a platform for exchanges on pertinent issues and complexities of facility management, in the Asian context. More than 600 delegates, represented by facilities management, property management and real estate professionals, building owners, public sector officials and other decision makerslocally and worldwide, attended the inaugural run of the WWPA conference held in Singapore in 2012, and the subsequent run in 2015.
Presented by Building and Construction Authority (BCA), IFMA and the Singapore Chapter of IFMA, the WWPA conference 2019 will be focusing on the theme ‘Building the Future of Facility Management through Digital Innovation’. This year’s conference focuses on technology and innovation, with the attention on digitalisation. The presentations will encompass topics covering pertinent issues in smart facility management, operation & maintenance and real estate.

ISO 41000: FM STANDARDS, UNDERSTANDING AND IMPLEMENTATION
The ISO 41000 suite of international FM standards provides a framework for FM worldwide in the delivery of services, fine-tune performance and manage risks allowing businesses to operate in a more effective, efficient and resilient manner. This session will address the development and implications of ISO 41000 and demonstrates how standards can contribute to a more productive, sustainable and liveable Built Environment which influences our quality of life.

Stephen is currently an Australian delegate for the ISO international FM standards. Stephen is a former member of the IFMA Board of Directors and Past Chairman of both the IFMA Foundation; and FMA Australia. He is also a Life Member of FMA Australia and a longstanding judge of the Global FM excellence awards. Last year he became the first ever recipient from the Oceania region of an IFMA Fellowship for his service to industry.
Stephen has advised owners, occupiers, investors, corporations and governments internationally. His property asset management consulting firm In-Touch Advisory connects stakeholders with solutions for the Built Environment across the property–construction–facilities life cycle.

b JTC Summit J-Ops Command Centre
JTC’s J-Ops Command Centre is one of the first integrated building and estate operations command centres in Singapore. It houses multiple smart Facilities Management systems to allow JTC to remotely monitor and manage FM operations for majority of its buildings and estates across the island.

1) The company and individual applicant has read and understood the terms and conditions. 2) The company and individual applicant warrant that the particulars given are accurate. 3) The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) can disclose to other government agencies any information relating to this application. 4) Payment for the course must be made to BCA before the course commencement date. 5) Any Direct Debit and Direct Credit Authorisation for GIRO applications previously signed and passed to BCA will apply to payments made under this course. 6) BCA reserves the right to accept or reject the application for whatever reason. 7) BCA shall at its discretion allocate a space to the registered applicant, based on availability. 8) BCA reserves the right to amend any details relating to the course, revise the course fees without prior notice, cancel or postpone the course. 9) No deferment is allowed. 10) Request for withdrawal must be made in writing. Requests are subject to approval by BCA and administration fee: Written request for withdrawal that reaches BCA - At least 2 weeks before the course commencement date: 10% of course fee is payable. - Less than 2 weeks but more than 3 working days before the course commencement date: 25% of course fee is payable. - 3 working days or less before the course commencement date: full course fee is payable. 11) No Replacement is allowed for funded participants. 12) The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points indicated for any course offered by BCA is subject to change and final approval by the relevant professional accreditation bodies. 13) Funding and subsidies offered by BCA or third party organisations for the courses are subject to approval. The company must make the application for funding and subsidies. BCA is not to be held liable and the company agrees to pay BCA the applicable funding amount if funding and subsidies are either granted at a reduced amount, not granted at all or if funding is revoked, for whatever reason. 14) All information, materials, services, intellectual property and other property and rights provided by BCA during the course are provided on an “as is” basis.
