Seminar on Business Excellence and Quality Management
To encourage enterprises in the built environment sector to take a holistic approach towards building capabilities and developing sustainable long-term business plans, BCA and SPRING launched the integrated assessment scheme for Business Excellence (BE) and ISO 9001 for Quality Management System standards. In this seminar, SPRING will share on the benefits of the integrated assessment and funding support available, and several certified companies will also share on their journey. Key changes in the ISO 9001:2015 and the transition audit requirement will also be presented.

TRANSITION TO ISO9001:2015 STANDARD
Ms Tay Hui Ling, Executive Manager, Quality & Certification Department, Building and Construction Authority ISO9001 have recently undergone a major review in year 2015. Organisations with existing ISO9001 certification are granted a three-year transition period to migrate their QMS to the new standard in order to maintain their ISO9000 certification. This presentation aims to share the key changes to the newly revised standard and provide insights on how to prepare for the transition audit.
QUALITY AND EXCELLENCE FOR THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT: INTEGRATED BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AND ISO9001:2015 ASSESSMENT

This presentation aims to highlight the significant benefits and added value from accredited certification to organisations. Certification is being used as a tool to deliver internal business improvement and to meet regulatory compliance. By selecting an accredited certification body, it provides an assurance that these organisations have the required competence and impartiality to do so as evidenced by fulfilment of international standards and requirements.
TIONG SENG’S JOURNEY - INTEGRATED ASSESSMENT: ISO9001: 2015 & BUSINESS EXCELLENCE

Mr Khng will speak on how top management’s support and key personnel’s commitment are necessary for the transition to the latest standard.
