OVERVIEW
Amusement ride inspections play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and conducting regular safety checks on the amusement rides to ensure the rides are safe for public rides.

OBJECTIVES
The course aims to provide an understanding of the general technical aspects of amusement rides including standards requirements, fundamental engineering concepts, operational risk assessment. This course also provides guidance on how to prepare and review a comprehensive Amusement Rides Safety Management System. 

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
• describe the various Rides Standards and Non-destructive Testing Standards
• explain the differences between statics and dynamics in mechanics fundamentals
• select the appropriate fastening devices and welding requirements
• compute an operational risk assessment
• prepare a comprehensive report in Amusement Rides Safety Management System
