Developing a Lifting Plan for Crane Lifting Operations

Event code: 44083

2-Day Practical Course on Developing a Lifting Plan for Crane Lifting Operations

OVERVIEW
Lifting plan is a set of plans which is created for use in any crane lifting operations and it consists of all the important information that must be considered in a lifting operation thus ensuring that the lifting operation is carried out safely. It aims to facilitate consensus amongst all relevant stakeholders including the lifting crew for a safe outcome. Under the WSH legal requirements, all lifting operations shall be accompanied by a lifting plan.

This BCA Academy’s practical course will enable construction site personnel to prepare a proper lifting plan for crane lifting operations and implement the lifting plan in a crane lifting activity.

OBJECTIVES
At the end of the training, participants would be able to prepare a lifting plan with good understanding of legal requirements, load charts, crane safety and lifting requirements, and be able to apply the lifting plan at a simulated crane location.
