OVERVIEW
Participants will gain in-depth knowledge on the inspection of the lift and escalator installation and maintenance works in accordance to the prevailing standards.
COURSE OUTLINE
The course is conducted over 4 days comprising 1-day of theory session (Module A) and 3-days of practical session (Module B). Participants are required to sit for an end-of-course assessment (for Module A).

ER LAI YUN TAI, P&T Engineer Services
Er Lai is the Director of P&T Engineer Services and is responsible for overall planning, operation, and maintenance of lifts and escalators. Er Lai is a registered Professional Engineer (Electrical) in Singapore and a Specialist Professional Engineer in Lift and Escalator registered with PEB, Singapore.

Participants are required to complete the MCQ online assessment by 16 June 2024, 2359 hrs. MCQ will open from 15 June 2024, 0000 hrs, to 16 June 2024, 2359 hrs (48 hrs).

Participant must achieve at least 75% attendance and pass all assessments. BCA Academy reserves the right to recover the funded amount from the participant (selfsponsored) or employer (company sponsored) if participant did not meet the eligibility criteria. ASSESSMENT & AWARD
This course comprises of end-of-course assessment. An e-Certificate of Successful Completion (e-CSC) for the course will be issued to participants who achieve at least 75% class attendance and pass the end-of-course assessment.
Participant who had successfully completed the course will be allowed to sit for ONE attempt of the Lift and Escalator Inspector registration exam administered by the Joint Accreditation Council (JAC). Details of the registration exam will be provided in due course.
