INTRODUCTION
In its effort to carry out renovation works in HDB flats, Housing & Development Board (HDB) requires all renovation contractor and its authorised persons to be listed in HDB Directory of Renovation Contractors (DRC), to attend a prescribed Renovation for Public Housing course. This is a mandatory requirement for renovation and windows contractors and applicants applying to be listed in the Directory of Renovation Contractors.
OBJECTIVE
Upon completing the course, participants will be able to gain understanding on latest HDB’s renovation guidelines, relevant authorities requirements and technical guide as well as good industry practices for renovation and electrical works.

IMPORTANT NOTE
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT
Applicant must be proficient in English (reading, listening and speaking) or have acquired Level 3 or higher pass in English (Comprehensive/Conversational) under the Workplace Literacy (WPL) programme.
COURSE MATERIALS
• Course notes will be uploaded to BCAA Learning Management System (LMS).
• Participant is strongly advised to print their own course notes for the online assessment.
ASSESSMENT & AWARD
Participant must attain at least 75% classroom attendance to be eligible to take the end of course assessment. Those who pass the assessment will be awarded with an e-Certificate of Successful Completion (e-CSC).
