CoreTrade Supervisor (Mechanical & Electrical)

OVERVIEW
The CoreTrade scheme was introduced to facilitate the construction sector in building up a core group of skilled and experience construction personnel to anchor and lead the construction workforce.

From April 2012, a new registration category of CoreTrade Supervisor has been introduced. This new category will extend the career progression path for CoreTrade personnel to move up from Tradesmen, Foremen to Supervisors class.

Next Intake    : Bi-monthly 

Date               : 11 to 24 July 2024

Duration         : 4.5 days (35 hours) or 12 evenings

Time               : 8.30am to 5.30pm or 6.30pm to 9.30pm

Venue             : BCA Braddell Campus

Fee (inclusive of 9% GST) : S$1,090.00 (per local participant)

Fee with Baseline funding*: To be confirmed (per participant)

Fee with Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy#: To be confirmed (per participant)                                      

Singaporeans 40 years old and above OR SME company sponsored Singaporeans or Singapore PRs. Fee payable after 70% funding support

To be confirmed

(inclusive of 9% GST)

Singaporeans, Singapore PRs and non SME company sponsored participants. Fee payable after 50% funding support

To be confirmed

(inclusive of 9% GST)

Participant must achieve at least 75% attendance and pass all assessments. BCA Academy reserves the right to recover the funded amount from the participant (self-sponsored) or employer (company sponsored) if participant did not meet the eligibility criteria. Applicants to upload the following documents online:
•          CoreTrade Acknowledgement Notice
•          Photocopy of participant identification (NRIC for Local and Work    Permit/Employment Pass for Foreigner – front & back)
•          Photocopy of passport (for foreign participant only)
•          GIRO or Company’s cheque payment

ASSESSMENT & AWARD
A participant must attain at least 75% of physical attendance to be eligible to take the examination at the end of the course.

It is compulsory to bring along a valid CoreTrade Acknowledgement Notice (AN) to be allowed to sit for examination. Participant needs to make a new CoreTrade Application if the AN expired before the examination date. Please note that participants who do not hold a valid AN will not be allowed to attend the test or their test results become invalid.

Those who pass the examination will be eligible for CoreTrade Supervisors registration.
