Scholarships, Awards & Bursaries

Besides providing the best education for its students, the Academy also seeks to help them with their financial needs. The following scholarships, awards and bursaries represent BCA Academy's commitment to care for its students while at the same time molding them to be the best that they can be.

Scholarships for new students

Each year, the Academy awards scholarships to full-time diploma students with outstanding academic results. The Academy will identify and award the scholarships to deserving students. The scholarships will cover tuition fees, miscellaneous fees and allowance. The tenure is three years, subject to the performance of the students during the course of study, and no bond is required. These scholarships are awarded only to new full-time students who are Singaporeans or Singapore permanent Residents.

Achievement Awards for existing students

Starting from academic year 2009, the Academy awards Achievement Awards to the top two full-time students in year one and another top two students in year two of each diploma programme. These awards are given to them when they are in their second year and third year of study respectively.  To be eligible for the Achievement Awards, the students must be the top two full-time students in their respective year of study of the diploma programmes and their Year GPA must be at least 3.50. These awards are open to both local and international students.

Bursary

The Academy assists full-time students who are Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents with financial needs in the form of bursaries. The tenure for each bursary is one year. A student whose family has a gross monthly household per capita income of S$500 and below is eligible for the bursary. Students can apply for the bursary at the TAD Office at the beginning of the academic year.

Preferential Tuition Fee

Starting from academic year 2009, the Academy offers Preferential Tuition Fee to top international students who enrolled, based on their screening test results. These students would enjoy preferential tuition fees for each year of their studies, subject to continual good academic performance.
