On 1 July 2009, the first batch of 25 senior officials from the Lagos State Ministry of Physical Planning & Urban Planning, Nigeria, attended a training programme in Singapore’s Building Control Framework at the BCA Academy. The trainees from the first batch include the Member of Parliament from Lagos State House of Assembly, and other senior officials from the ministry. In total, 100 senior officials will be trained over a period of 3 months at the academy.
