
Leadership in Environmental Sustainability
(20th – 25th April 2009)
The Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) & the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) formed a partnership to conduct an Executive Development Programme on Leadership in Environmental Sustainability to accelerate the development of executives in green stewardship roles that would steer the built environment of Singapore towards the next level of environmental sustainability.

The inaugural run of the programme was conducted over an intensive 6-day period in Pittsburgh & Boston. The programme focused on Global Sustainable Development; Sustainable Development Investments; Total Building Performance, Networking and Exemplary LEED Certified projects.


Twenty-one participants comprising senior executives from the private sector - developers, architects, engineers, builders, and members from government agencies - MOE, JTC, HDB, NParks and BCA, attended the inaugural run.
