A fire drill exercise was conducted at BCA Academy on 31 Dec 2009 
at 10am. This exercise is a requirement under the BCA Academy 
Workplace Safety and Health Management System. 

Upon hearing the fire alarm,  all staff  proceeded quickly  to the assembly 
area (URA heavy vehicle park, next to the Academy). 

All participants assembled in an orderly manner for the fire wardens 
to conduct a head count. This is to ensure that all staff are safely 
evacuated from their buildings.   

A mini get- together among participants while the fire wardens 
were busy collating the data.  In total , 226 participants including 
the management, staff, students, trainees and contractors 
participated in this exercise.  

The whole exercise was successfully completed in 12 minutes.  
We would like to thank everyone for their participation in this fire 
safety readiness exercise.
